I'm an only child and was perfectly fine about that as a child. It was just what it was, I knew no different. However it makes me a little sad now. My parents are divorced and hate each other and it's very draining dealing with all the emotions alone. My husband has a brother and sister and they're all close and I wish I had someone to talk to, understand, and share the burden.
That said we spent a long time wondering whether we'd have a second child. Like a pp only when our son turned 4 did we finally feel ready and now we're expecting number 2.
