Feeding step 2 formula to 4 month old

Hi, my hubby went and bought NAN step 2 which is from 6 months up but my little boy is only 4 months. Is it safe to feed him this or should I stick to step 1, birth to 6 month formula? Just want 2 b safe

i would stick to stage one as stage two has alot of things in it which are only suitable for 6months+ if your really stuck one bottle wouldn;t cause to much harm but i wouldn't move him up until he is a little older.

Thanks that's what I thought. That's what i get for sending hubby down the shops for it!!
