Ok so this is a rant.. And if you could give me some advice?

First off.. My husband has had knee and shoulder surgery. He constantly hurts in his joints. He has a sleeping disorder and OCD..

He takes pain medicine and an anti depressant and anxiety medicine..

I'm soo tired of him saying that he can't perform because he took medicine.. I just told him I maybe ovulating and he said well I can't cause I took some somas last night and it can't get hard..

We only has :sex: maybe once a week or once every other week.. We cannot get pregnant if we only have sex one time! I'm soo sick of this!!! He just doesn't understand!!

He can perform when taking his antidepressant and anxiety medicine..

But when he takes somas and takes too much Xanax.. He can't perform.. He really doesn't have to have these medicines except for his antidepressant and sleeping medicine. He just likes to sleep so he takes his sleeping medicine one night then he'll take a load of another medicine to help him sleep...

I'm soo frustrated right now!!!! :grr:

Doctor said his sperm analysis was normal

I'm so sorry to hear that. I always have a hard time motivating my husband to BD often. With my husband it's a lack of confidence thing. So I totally feel your frustration.

I have a similar expereince with OH not wanting to BD. He works long hours and does not get enough sleep. So he is tired and doesn't feel like BDing. I don't feel good about our chances this cycle. I am waiting for BBT to confirm Ovulation. we only BD twice at the beginning of the week and O was likely yesterday.

I keep gently nudging him. "Come on Babe we need to try harder, we both really want a baby, we need to make an effort to least BD every 2nd or third day." I would be happy with 3 times a week.

I only have 2 cycles of Clomid left before we have to go back to the Fertility Specialist and we would ideally love to be pregnant in the next two cycles.

I hope things look up for you. Sorry I don't have any advice for you but thought I would let you know you are not alone :hugs:
