Hi Girlies,

We have been ttc for 3 1/2 years, we had a mc in July 2011 other than that nothing.

We went to the hospital an after numerous tests have said there is no reason why we cant conceive and to go back 2 years after mc, we have been back only to be told its actually 3 years ater mc before we can start IVF which will take 6 months to apply the a further 6 months before we even seen then they start the procedure

Sometimes I feel like my body hates me...every other month 1 week before im due ill feel all the symptoms you want to feel during the TWW - achy boobs, dizziness, back ache, etc and af always makes a appearance.

People say not to think about it and it will happen - ive tried putting it to the back of my mind but you cant help but wonder every month if its 'our turn yet' A family member has just had her 2nd (in the 3 years we have been trying) im so pleased for them but its hard not to let it rip your heart out too.

My fiancé is amazing but cant help but feel I'm letting him down every month when I don't conceive - he would truly make a amazing daddy.

Thanks for reading - feel I just needed to get it all out.

Lots of love x

Hey there...

Just wanted to offer a virtual cuddle..:-)
I have been TTC for 3 years too and have had recurrent miscarriage.

It certainly does rip your heart out...

I am in the TWW and frankly sick of it! Does the wondering/hoping ever change. It's so horrible...

Where are you in your cycle?

Have you had immune testing done? I only ask because I was in the unexplained category and had the tests done privately which revealed the problem. It can be a factor in the unexplained. I would def suggest having them done before IVF just to check because it can be a reason behind repeated IVF failures.

Big hugs

Rachel x

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for the hug :)

I'm currently cd23, the next week is going to be long! Where are you?

I've not heard of immune testing... What does this involve? I did ask the hospital about going private for further testing and she said it could possibly cancel our nhs entitlements if we did...

Hugs
Xx
