feeling lost and lonely........

Hopeful85 - Sorry things aren't going so well with the family. People can be SO insensitive!!! The good thing is that you are young and there are a lot of options out there. I think you WILL go crazy if you don't get some support from DH soon. He needs to snap out of it. Has he had a SA yet? My DH is pretty supportive usually but there are moments when I want to strangle him. I think part of it is that women are good at talking about their feelings and men keep it all inside and then get angry. I bet your DH is acting this way because he is secretly worried he is the cause of it and every time you bring it up or he sees you crying, it reminds him. I would definitely get him checked out and then talk to a dr about regulating your cycle. There are plenty of meds to help with that.

Wanna b a mom - Yes, this is going to be my first IVF. I start my stimming meds on March 5th and EC should be around March 20. After 3 failed IUIs, this was the next step. It is a very intricate, overwhelming process but the odds are 60% of a BFP (with a 2 embryo transfer) at my clinic. You have to give yourself a lot of needles and you have to get a lot of bw and u/s but it is all worth it if there is a baby at the end of this journey!

GL to everyone! Let's get out BFP soon!! :happydance:

Hopeful: tell your hubby that age is just a number. My DH is 51 and I am 35. He has 2 girls from his first marriage but he still wants to have a baby with me (maybe even 2!) Didn't you hear that 40's is the new 30's? I also think you should see FS sooner than later. If you are not OV and periods are off it will make things very hard for you. You should get blood tests and scans to make sure everything is fine with you. DH should also get his SA done. I would try to find answers instead of just guessing... good luck!! :hugs:
marrie: best of luck!!!! yes, all those shots sound a bit scary but if you will get that baby at the end is well worth it. 60% is a high percentage! how exciting!!

Yes, 40 is the new 30...that's what my DH says all the time! I am 35 & he is 48 so we are almost the same there. He has a teenage daughter and wants a lot more kids although I'd be overjoyed with just one LO! FX for all of us !!

Thanks wanna b a mom! Looks like things may start happening faster than I thought. I got AF 5 days early yesterday because they put me on bcp for 2 weeks and told me to stop taking it March 1. The u/s showed lots of follies on both sides, about 5-6 decent size ones on each side and a lot of smaller ones so he said I should respond well to fertility drugs. After I get my BW results this after, I'll find out the doses of my injections and could have ER as early as March 15th now. I'm so nervous & excited!

Where are you right now in your TTC journey?

OMG Marie, that sound super exciting. the 15th is already next week!! cool!! do you have a journal?

No, I don't have a journal. I thought about starting one but it seems like it could be a lot of work...but a lot of fun. I had my second scan today on cd4 and they saw 15 follies on each side. The lead on the right was 9mm & on the left was 12mm. I think they need to be 18-20mm by next week so I have plenty of time. I'm hoping for big numbers on ER!
