Having a down day today just thinking about xmas upcoming etc....:(

I should have max here, he should be roughly a month old, i should be here sitting with my boy.. the thought of xmas is killing me inside....how do i get through christmas when i should have my son with me....?

The whole thought of preparing for this baby is pretty over-whelming really....i was folding some baby clothes away this morning and thinking about when you pack hospital bag etc....I'll be doing all those things roughly a year past since we lost max  we had the scan on 29th march, and he was gone on the 6/4/10  it'll be such an exciting time next year waiting for this little guy....but i shouldnt be happy, i dont know how i'll feel....i think i'll just want to curl up and cry but i can imaigine family and OH being all excited :( sorry no point to this post really just needed to get that out....

Im sorry to hear about Max. I also lost my son halfway into my pregnancy this was 2 years ago and I have since gone on to have another little boy who is 7wks old. I know pregnancy after loss is a very anxious and worrying time and its a real shame because we never get to truly enjoy the preg like other women do. I was worried also about how Id feel after the birth of my son, its been tough, most women get the blues after preg anyway but the fact that we have experienced the loss of a baby I guess makes us more prone to feeling low postnatally. I am just taking each day as it comes, trying to enjoy my little bundle of joy but equally remembering his big brother.

It is hard to feel happy about a pregnancy when you are still mourning your lost baby...
big :hugs:
I so hope it gets easier XXX

I am sure that as your current pregnancy progresses you will gradually become more excited about the impending arrival... you will be caught up in the excitement of the new baby arriving but you will also remember max at the same time. I am confident that you will be just fine, everything will be ok, we all remember our losses in our own ways but don't feel guilty about your current pregnancy.
