Hi all

We just found out on Wednesday that we are having a boy. We had agreed on the name Stephen James before we found out but I'm finding it really weird to refer to my bump as Stephen, sounds so grown up for a little baby!!! lol

Does it take a bit of time to get used to bump having a 'proper' name??? x

It really does as you cant imagine such a tiny thing with any kind of name other than a pet name lol, it was still strange after giving birth for a little while whilst they 'grew into' their names.

Good choice of names btw, we have a Benjamin Steven and a Daniel James!!! xx :flower:

Thanks :flow:

We decided on Stephen as it's my 1) it's my dad's name (he has 3 daughters so no one to carry on his surname so I thought it would be nice to name our son after him) and 2) my DH is adopted and we just found out his name was also Stephen when he was born, and James as that was DH's dads name.

So you have 2 boys, are you hoping to have a girl this time or not fussed either way?

I know what I'd like to call my LO and its the only name OH and I have agreed on but I feel weird giving the name to him before he's born. But I found it took a while to get used to calling my girls by their names when they were born too (I didnt know what I was having before delivery with them). I guess its just part of getting to know them! x x
