Fertility MOT private or NHS

Hi everyone well I have been ttc for just over a year using a known donor, and so far nothing is happening, I have made an appointment at my GP office to ask about getting fertility tests.
I would like to no if there is any fertility issues with me and if so what (if anything) can be done to help.

My question is has anyone paid private to go see a fertilty clinic and get a fertility MOT ?
What tests did they do?
Did you have to wait long ?
How much did it cost?
What clinics did you use?
I am based in the north west of England so if anyone used clinics in this region I would love to no your experiences

I had my hormones checked this month (due to extra hair, but Dr knows im TTC'ing too) and i came in for a blood test when my period started and got the results, the next day.

I would go see your GP if you get no joy, try a private GP near me its £35 for an appointment and they might refer you for tests, but i expect it would cost hundreds for a lot of tests, good luck x
