I might try sitting her more upright at the next feed
Omg I'm so glad I came in and read this thread,I've been on the verge of pulling my hair out.somedays a feed is done in 10 mins with no fuss but most days it takes an hour with lots of crying or refusing to even have the teat in her mouth.she suffers from reflux ao not sure wether the bad days r just where the reflux is playing up but she's definitely mastered how to push the teat out with her tongue xx
It's silent reflux so she hardly ever spits up but does occasionally.I told the doctor
she screams when trying to feed her laying flat
she will drink the first say 3oz with no trouble then once she stops or burps she will start crying again.
She cries for her bottle so I put it in her mouth and she goes to suck (showing she wants it) but then screams till I take it out.
That's when she was diagnosed with reflux.
But now she sometimes just flat out refuses the bottle, shuts her mouth tight and if I try to put it in she cries til the battle is out of sight xx
