Finger foods for baby with cows milk allergy?

So my lo is 9 months and still only eats purees cos hes sick quite a lot when he has more solid foods so the hv sad try giving him more finger foods but when i said its hard to know what to give him as finger foods cos of hos cmpa she said coud he be allergic to the finger foods too and i said i dont think so cos he gags and then throws up so she said try only giving him more solid things when he has an empty stomach before he has his meal so he doesnt have anything to throw up but i dont know what to give him??

He will eat a bit of plain toast but chews it then puts it down then gets a different bit and chews that but i think he must swallow some and he likes the baby carrott crisps and the sweetcorn rings but what else can he have?

What about rice cakes or breadsticks with a dip or spread. You could make hummus or make veg dips. Also what about fruit. My Lo loves loads of different types of fruit. If its harder fruit eg apples, I'll cut it in slices and soften in the microwave. I add a sprinkle of cinnamon to add extra flavour. Or some veg sticks, that way you can be in control of the texture (cook to soften if needed) and the size to suit Lo.
