hi ladies
some of you might have read my posts few weeks ago, had anatural m/c at approx 6 weeks last month but hospital referred us staight away to recurrent miscarriage clinic!
well, first appointment yesterday went very well, loads of blood tests done and booked in for internal scan in six weeks to check ovaries and tubes
I was surprised to be told NOT to take aspirin! Doc believes it reduces ovulation and should ONLY be started when you get your first bfp!
he also increased my folic acid to 5mg per day instead of 400ug per day so fingers crossed!
the main thing i came away with was his and the other staff at the centres encouragement, even though i'm 40 in four weeks and OH is 48 they really empathised with us wanting a child together and age was barely mentioned
so ladies if you havent been referred, push your GP....now....TODAY!!
