DD sleeps from 7-7 so you would think that when she wakes up in the morning she would be super hungry. But always with her first bottle of the day she will only take about 2-3.5oz of a 7oz bottle and then will take the rest about a hour later.
And then throughout the day sometimes she will take a 7oz bottle in one gulp and then at other times she snacks on it over a period of time.
Is this normal-especially the morning one?

My DD is 4 months old and is the same, the first bottle she won't take much from.

My lg is exactly the same. Shes 11 months. Takes 3oz when she wakes up. I think its totally normal and their way of letting you know they would prefer food :)

My lo sleep's 12 hours at night but hardly ever cries for a bottle in the morning. She'll drink 8oz and have some baby cereal but never cries for it.

Yes. My DS is 7 months and does the same in the morning. He will drink 2 oz and then after an hour passes drink the rest of his 8 oz bottle. He is a great eater and has 6 bottles a day with 8 oz in each bottle. I think they just need time to wake in the morning and it's why they sip at first.
