First cycle ttc #2. Anyone on cd 1, with long cycles, need a buddy?

Today is CD 1 of cycle 1 of TTC!!!! I have 35-40 day cycles, last was 37 days. Anyone else on cd 1, with longer cycles need a buddy?

Yay!! My name is Angel. Shall I call you Lili? How old are you? I am 26. I am using OKPs, temping/charting and will use Preseed. Are you doing anything special, or taking a more laid back approach? While ttc Carter, we got our bfp on cycle 2 using preseed. We may have gotten it on the first cycle bed didn't time our BDing right.

Currently I am just waiting on af to leave, usually stays around 5 days. Nice to meet you!

hi =) im jillian, im 24 and am on first cycle ttc #2! Im on cd 12, but my last cycle was 53 days, eek! I think my body is still getting over the depo injections so i hopong this is a 'normal' cycle.
Im charting and using opks. We got pregnant on the first cycle when we were ttc #1 using the same. I highly doubt i will be so lucky this time!

Hi! I'm "Starry", I'm 29 and have longer cycles. I've always been irregular (conceived DS on a 70 day cycle) but since his birth I've had cycles around the 40 day mark. Just one that was 50. So far we're technically NTNP but with my 30th birthday just half a year away and ladies falling pregnant around me I may start feeling desperate soon. lol

I'm on CD21 right now and am due to ovulate sometime early next week. I'm hoping for sooner as we're going to the inlaws and there's no chance for secret hanky-panky. I think I'm on my 3rd full cycle of "trying". AF showed up a week after taking off the condoms so I can't rely on my ticker for number of cycles.

Hi Starry, it stinks having such long cycles. The wait to O is so long. I used to have 65 day-ish cycles and managed to shorten them by losing a little weight and eating better. Good luck to you too!

dcm -- please stick around! I'm on CD22 so it's OK that you're further ahead of other people. There aren't many threads for those TTC#2 with long cycles.

Anyways, starting to get some serious ovulation symptoms so plan on DTD the next few nights before we go to see the in-laws. I'll probably "o" while there but am hoping DH's swimmers will survive until then. I actually think I'm due to "o" on Tuesday so we can DTD up until the night before.

I would join, but I'm on CD 33, trying to conceive #2.. have suffered from two miscarriages in a row, which is especially frustrating and sad with how long my cycles are. My shortest cycle is usually 45 days.. but the average is around 60!

We actually leave for the inlaws on Tuesday. And no, no chance for sneaky bd'ing. They live in a small condo so our room is right across from theirs. And they're the type I would NOT want them to even guess at what we were doing. Dh isn't up for trying either. We hope to dtd tonight and cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Now on CD 42... thinking I O'd maybe 7 or 8 days ago... Waiting for some pregnancy tests to come in the mail. The delivery estimate says tomorrow but they are in the town right next to me!! So frustrating.. I am eager to test.

I'm pretty sure I ovulated on time -- either on Tuesday or Wednesday so that would put me at about 7DPO. We had DTD on the previous Sunday and Monday so hopefully that was enough. No symptoms of any kind but that is actually different from previous cycles. Maybe it's a sign! LOL AF should arrive sometime next week. Because of my one 50 day cycle I don't want to test until the 23rd but may test sooner than that if I get any really strong symptoms.

Currently 4dpo, will be testing on the 21st of this month. AF due to come on the 20th but hopefully the skips over me. 13 days left till testing i start getting eager as the days go by

Is it kind of bad that I'm now hoping I'm NOT pregnant this time? Just got my trip to see my parents finalized and the thought of flying in first trimester freaks me out! I miscarried early with my first and bled the whole 1st tri with my son (and I miscarried a twin at 9 weeks). However, if I'm not pregnant I have to wait until November for a bfp as I'm going to my parents over my ovulation window! (DH is not coming with me) What is it with the relatives getting in the way of my TTC efforts??

And my dad is paying for the flight with his Air Miles so I have to let them pick the dates (for cheapest tickets and availability)

No, not bad at all. Is flying in the first tri something that they discourage or something that makes you nervous just due to your past experiences.
