first midwife appointment!!!

ok so i talked to my midwife today and i have my first appointment next tuesday i just wondered what will happen and what to expect really.
ill be 6 and half weeks by then thanks.

How exciting . My doctors surgery wont let me see the midwife for the booking in appointment till 10 weeks . You'll have to let us all know how it goes!

I made an appointment to see midwife at 4 wks - she gave me all the information and booklets that I needed, took my bp, and we made an appointment for the official booking in session for 12 wks.

You're lucky hun, most wont see you til 8 wks minimum!!

I've got mine tomorrow - I'll be 9+1. Bit nervous but think they just do height weight blood pressure etc!! Nothing to worry about. They might book you in for your dating scan as well

Had mine yesterday! She asked loads of questions about my health, took weight and height, booked my 12 week scan, gave me lots of leaflets and things. Was not as interested as i would of hoped! Lol.
