First time using opk.. is this positive??

Hiya everyone,
This is the first time ive used opk, and im not sure whether this mornings test is positive?? Both the lines are faint so its hard to tell.
What do you think? Im currently CD14 and my cycles are every 30 days xx

I would think that THAT is your positive! It's a bit darker than the control line! Get to baby-making!

Agree! With a cycle of 30 days and an average lp of 14 days then your o should be cd16 making that tomorrow!!! Perfect time to bd tonight tomorrow and the day after!! Have fun!!!

This evenings tests.. On the cheapie test the line is quite faint, but on asda the line is very dark!! Do you think they are still positive? Just find it strange them both saying different things xx

But the test line is darker then the control line? I thought if it was darker that ment it was positive? Xx

I always get two days of positive opks so maybe you too have a long surge and the Asda one is picking it up. I always consider my first pos opk the one to go by and it's been spot on if I judge by when ff gives me crosshairs for o!

Ah. Sorry. I was looking at it the wrong way round! Duh! Chistiana is right. It may be that you have a long surge. I always get two days of positives. Take the day after your first true positive as 1dpo x

Not happy with hubby, he came in drunk last night so we couldnt BD ive taken test this morning and its still positive, just hope I havent missed ovulation. . Gonna try and BD at least twice today!! Xx

Tyler...ohhh men! But dont worry about it, did you get an bding done the previous days? They say bding before the day of o gives you more chances than just on the day of o as the little swimmers need some time before they re ready to do their job!! Good luck and baby dust, i d say your tww starts either today or tomorrow!

We BD on saturday and monday.. I dont mind him having afew beers, its the fact he knew last night was important and he still got drunk lol. He was very apologetic this morning before work, his still in the dog house tho
Think im def ovulating today as getting pains on my right side.
His got alot of making up to do this evening xx

If im still getting positives today does that mean I havent ovulated yet? Im just very close? And how long do you keep getting positives? Sorry to ask so many questions just new to opk's xx

The longest I ve ever had pos opks is 3 days and I think o was in the second day or just beginning of third. I usually get 2 days and I ov on the second day (so 1 after first pos). I take it you don't temp? It s the only way to know when you really ov. I d say if you had ov pain today then today it is. You can also check cm..most women usually dry up after ov.

Thanks hun still getting positive tests, I checked cm and its stretchy and clear.. so yeh im def ovulating today!! Ive BD twice today and will do the same tomorrow.. just hope Ive timed it right and not missed it xx

If you ve got ewcm then you definitely haven't ov yet so either today or tomorrow so your timing sound perfect! Happy tww!

Done a test this morning, still positive., Thats 3 days now.
BD 3 times yesterday, try and do the same today if hubby can manage it
