Had our first ultrasound today at 6 weeks and we were able to see a flicker in the blob but not yet hear it. We go back Friday for a repeat to hear it. 
As for my twin theory, it looks like just one but... it was kinda odd. I did see a 2nd smaller dark spot that was the same color as the sack. When I said 'looks like just one' the nurse didn't comment. She did take a bunch of measurements and try several times to catch the flicker to hear the hb, pretty sure that was all the same baby. She did say the sack measured 5+something but then measured baby and said 6, so... does that sound weird?
