To be honest, from experience with the Sian case, once they explicitly BAN public from searching, they are no longer looking for clues or a little girl. They are looking for a body. With it being such high profile and strong on social media they wouldn't want a member/s of the public finding a body and word spreading like wildfire before the parents can be notified and any formal identification done.
They wouldn't share his picture unless they we EXTREMELY confident he was involved and sadly him being found in camo gear and waterproofs paints a very clear picture that he was out in the mountainous countryside there and did not want to be seen.
I really do not think they will now find an alive little girl, I think it the worst will have happened... Based on the police patterns of investigation and what was just released at the press conference. So very sad.
