five year old missing!!

I think its a good thing that they now have a no fly zone, Ithink it would be awful as a member of the little girls' family or friends and something was to be found and it broadcast on the news before they could be contacted.I also think the police know more than they are telling the press, which once again I think is a good thing that they want to be sure before releasing the details

To be honest, from experience with the Sian case, once they explicitly BAN public from searching, they are no longer looking for clues or a little girl. They are looking for a body. With it being such high profile and strong on social media they wouldn't want a member/s of the public finding a body and word spreading like wildfire before the parents can be notified and any formal identification done.

They wouldn't share his picture unless they we EXTREMELY confident he was involved and sadly him being found in camo gear and waterproofs paints a very clear picture that he was out in the mountainous countryside there and did not want to be seen.

I really do not think they will now find an alive little girl, I think it the worst will have happened... Based on the police patterns of investigation and what was just released at the press conference. So very sad.

Her poor parents. I can't imagine never being able to hold my baby again. Never seeing her beautiful smile. I hate myself for still clinging onto hope. I wish this never happened. I really hate life sometimes :nope:

I don't like how the front of his car was all covered up. Wonder what happened to it & why he put it in a repair garage.

So so sad.
Was the white van found near the bridge like a curtesy car or something?

I thought it might just be to hide his number plate?

Nope, they released his registration number in the hopes someone will rememeber seeing the vehicle x

The garage was in old station road area of the village so he probably was found walking after taking it there. Ugh so many thoughts going round my head!

I can't remember - yesterday wasn't a white van meant to be found on the bridge? I wonder whether this did happen or whether it was press confusion.

I haven't read the whole thread as on my phone.
I must admit one of my first thoughts were why on earth did her parents let her play out at that time of night for but they are already probably beating themselves up over the fact they did.
I pray she's found safe although looking unlikely :-(

What the hell goes through these sick peoples minds!!! I look at my 8month old baby boy playing with his toys and think how on earth anyone can hurt such innocent children, it breaks my heart.

That's what I was thinking. They keep saying his vehicle was found not far from where he was walking so can't have been the land rover. Must have been a courtesy car

It could have been the land rover as that was found in a repair garage in town so he could have dropped it in then found walking towards town.

I'm not sure about the white van though.

Mum and dad are making an appeal at 12.30 according to sky news.

Couldn't hear properly as Katie chatting away but I'm sure the sky reporter basically said yesterday when the road was closed in both directions they assumed the vehicle was found there but it was in fact the garage.

Perhaps there is more than one person involved. With all the different cars and him not cooperating, he believes nothing will be found.

Something a sky news man man said made me think it was his own garage but not a normal garage we'd have, more af just a big shed to keep it. Not an actual mechanic type garage. I could have misinterpreted though.

I'm thinking body now unfortunately :(
I just hope its today and not another long night of torment for the family.

They had photos of a qhite van left on the bridge though with a police car infront and behind :/
