I think the little girl who's a witness said it was light coloured, but in the dark a lot of cars look light coloured.

Yes I'd imagine he used his car to move her body, went to the river and put her in there, hid the car then went to walk back to town. Not sure where the other car comes into though. If there even was one. Seems that the landrover is the car of interest and they want to know where it's been.

Could the van have been put there by an accomplice for him to use? No one else has been mentioned though.

The cloth may be covering lights or bars on the front which could be used to used to identify it if someone phones.

Mark Bridger apparently had two vehicles - which would explain police surrounding a van yesterday. Confusing details but obviously the landrover is the significant car and forensics have apparently been fast-tracked. I'd imagine some more information will come to light this afternoon/evening.

this is awful! im so glad i co-sleep at the moment because i couldnt have coped last night without my little man by me.

I cannot imagine what the parents are going through. They are constantly going to regret letting her out their to play for the rest of their lives even if she is found safe and well. She will always be emotionally scarred by this. Whoever took her deserves to rot in hell and I hope he or they get their just desserts!

This is all very bizarre. They're saying it's highly unusual for the police to release the name of a suspect and even more so his picture. Which means they are pretty certain they've got their guy. But they can't find April. No sign of her. And want to let volunteers back in? AND now the family are supposed to be making an appeal at 12:30pm..
