Forensics could come back with her DNA in the car, he will say he had her & friends in the car the other day, backed up by the girls. Without finding her or her body (sorry) they might not have anything.

For me releasing his name wasn't because they have something, but it's ALL over the papers/internet anyway & IMO they had to release his name because they needed to get the pic of his car out there cos it was different to what people thought they were looking for. It terrifies me if he is to blame, he could just walk away

It doesn't make sense, but then we don't have all the info. Few theories have been thrown around if you have a look back through the thread. In regards to the vehices, as we've said before, the suspect owns two vehicles. A van, and a blue landrover. Currently the landrover is the vehicle of interest.

This is highly unlikely. In many cases there are people's names who are put out there that are never released but Facebook and websleuth "detectors" think they have the right guy. The police more often than not, do not name a suspect in custody unless they are sure they have SOME involvement.

I highly doubt he will be released. They will continue to question him and continue to have that time extended. This is why the search is so thorough and becoming bigger every minute, because they are trying to find as many clues as possible to link him so they don't have to release him. And, like you said, they are still waiting on forensics aswell. Her being in the car is hearsay.

It would also be against his best interest to not release him. He has not been taken to a police station to help enquiries, he's been taken into custody on suspicion of abduction. He would be torn apart if he were released. I think they will charge him in a day or two.

This story has had a serious impact on me. My Lo is only 9 months old and she is my 1st. I think when you have children these things affect you more

Oh thanks...didnt realise he had two vehicles. I mean, i know its dark but there is a huge difference between each type of vehicle. Personally, i really dont think its going to be good news. I agree with the person that said if he had killed her he wouldnt be saying where she is in the hope that he could walk away. Makes you sick. If i remember it said he was in the military..so that maybe would be why he was pictured with a gun.

This will more than likely be granted. It is in the public interest that this man is kept in custody. There is more than enough evidence right now to keep him at least, and that is just from witness statements.
