Well I finished my last filling appointment today and I got to see the resident orthodontist.
He took one look at my mouth and my overbite and he said "You have a very complex mouth. What I recommend is that we put braces on you and when we think you are ready to get them off we will insert metal plates into your jaw so the teeth don't revert to their original position."
I'm excited but also scared at the same time, I mean jaw mouth is going to be wired and I can't imagine the pain. Yet I am thinking of the long term on how I will look.
Has anyone had their overbite fixed by this procedure?
