I was just reading Wobbles thred about pillows.

Oscar is starting to get flat head, shame 'cos his head was very round, so much so people commented on it.

I do try to lay him on different sides everynight, but he moves.

Do I need to worry? I know some people have spent 1000s on head gear (that looks a little odd TBH) Is it really nessersarry? (sp?)

I know some people have already said no, but I wanted to open the discussion further

Definatley not worth it especially at the age Oscar is
Jack had a flat spot for ages and i got worried, as you do lol

If you look when he is sleeping he probably has his face turned towards the light, i used to alternate which end of the cot i used to lay Jack so it was even on both sides

Really nothing to wory about unless it is really pronounced when he is a lot older

I think it will be fine. Bethanie had a bit of a flat head and a bald patch but it's all gone now. :)

I definitely wouldn't worry. I think it was at the 7 month check my HV said they have a check on it. I think all babies end up with bald bits and flat bits and then when they're on the move and sitting up it sorts itself out.
