So FOB is annoyed I called CSA since he's living it up every weekend partying and I'm paying for everything for LO. He's trying to tell me csa wont take any money coz he has debts (not the case at all I asked csa) now he's telling me I'll get a very small amount but that means he gets LO on his own - she's bloody 3 weeks old and he lives 3 and a half hours away in a flat with his friend who I know does drugs! I wouldn't trust him with a plant never mind my child!
He's not on bc and he's not really interested in her he's just trying to scare me into not making him pay.
I'm so annoyed it's unreal!

What a :growlmad:!!!! He has a responsibility to pay, whether he is responsible enough to look after a baby is something else entirely!! If he is stupid enough to email/text/facebook any of his verbal diarreah to you - then make you keep a record of it all. you can you taht as evidence to make sure he doesn't get unsupervised visits!

Paying towards his child doesn't mean he gets his child unsupervised, he's trying to scare you! x

I did think he was just saying it, yea he's put it to my facebook because apparently my mobile number isn't right and he can't reach me on it, yet his mum managed to call me two days ago! He's so full of bull it's ridiculous!

Would his mother be easier to deal with? If she's nice maybe you could just talk to her?

Big Hugs xx

She's nice enough but it's her son and she backs him up which I understand, she's helped me more than he has already by buying the pram although he's now claiming he paid half which I know is a lie, he really is a piece of work lol

Ah of course. His mummy did it, therefore he gets some credit... NOT! :haha: Are you sure you don't want a 2nd child? lol

Oh yea would be great! Lol I do often wonder how I ever ended up with such a prick as my fob lol

Oh he's now telling me he'll be taking her to his mothers for weekends, she also lives 3 and a half hours away! Would a court really let a newborn be driven that far away and back? She's not even meant to be in a car seat more than 2 hours at a time!

No sweetie.! Newborns and young babies need regular, short access. I.E.. A couple times a week for an hour or two, rather than longer but less frequent access. Go to a solicitor, get some advice. Access won't usually be given overnightly until the child is older, unless for example custody has been completely shared from the start (Including maternity leave etc) x

Sounds like a right dickhead. I think someone needs to inform him that if he didn't want to pay for HIS child to have everything she needs, he shouldn't have had sex in the first place. I swear some guys are soo stupid.

Haha yea he's beyond stupid sometimes, he must think I'm as thick as he is with some of the crap he wants me to believe, I just find it sickening that the guy who 'lost' his phone from Friday night till Sunday afternoon the weekend his daughter was due just so he could go out drinking expects to have her for weekends! He really is an idiot. Who thinks CSA will only look at the amount of money he has to spare at the end of the month and take maintanence from that lol

I think on average you get something like 15% of their earnings... They deduct an amount that's 'reasonable living' .. :) Have you used the CSA calculator? x

No and I have no idea how much he earns he made sure I didn't know when he moved job lol

Oh do you breastfeed? Because that is a legitimate reason baby can't be away from you. And having the baby at his mother's is only ok if you agree to it.

No I bottle feed but I did call my solicitor and ask about it, seems that as long as I offer him access here (which I do) then he hasn't really got a leg to stand on, it's all about what's best for lo when it comes to court and it wouldn't benefit her to be away from me right now, will change gradually to day trips then over night as she gets older - if he takes me to court. I however don't see that happening, he has no real interest in her he's just hacked off.

yeah true. If he can't get his act together for his own child, how is he goign to get his act together for a solicitor/court :) :hugs:
