For or against animal testing?

I think mostly people don't really think through animal research, the benefits and advances that have been made from it and the implications if we were to stop tomorrow. It's easy to say you don't agree, I don't agree either, I don't think animals are worth less than us, I probably think they're worth more but I wouldn't like to be without the knowledge we've gained from their use.
