for our rainbow groups catch up Xx

Hope u have a great weekend Amy!

Laura, hope u and Simon are well and that your mother is doing better. FX they find/found out the cause of her fainting.

Angel, hope your dh is back and taking care of you. Hoping and praying you get answers soon as to what is going on. :flower:

Random question. How many teeth do your los have? Sophie only has 8. No signs of new teeth yet. But hoping she will get more soon. She has been so slow for teething. She keeps me so busy. She goes non stop from morning until bedtime. Very tiring for me and dh. Plus climbing up everything and attempting or threatening to jump off everything. Lol. Have a great weekend ladies!

Jess I wouldn't know what to do if Pierce didn't take naps! I imagine Soph must sleep well at night after exhausting herself (and Mama)! She sounds like so much fun...I still can't believe how tall she is :cloud9: As for teeth, Pierce just cut his 16th tooth...all he has left are his last set of molars. I wish Jen was still on here to give some input on infant/toddler teeth. I've heard they can come in at different ages, but will all be in by 36 months. I say enjoy having less to worry about brushing while you can.

Happy Saturday

Still reading but before I forget :-D
S has only 8 teeth too Jess Xx
Teething, all the time but no new teeth
I think it's cos he has, been sick a lot during winter

Thought there be other pages to read but there isn't :-D
No news here
Love to all

How tall is Soph Jess? My DD is very tall too-ill measure her later and post! She's 18 months and has about 14.

Wow, babies are so different when it comes to their teeth. Sophie is like Simon, it takes forever to cut a tooth and when a tooth has already broken through it takes many weeks to come up all of the way.

a1983, Sophie is 35 in. right now but she seems to be growing again, she is eating much more now. Do you get comments from people about your dds height? Or do they ever assume she is older? Congrats on your new pregnancy!

So that's 89cm...how old is she? Yes everybody's first comment is about her height! But she's the same height as the boys her age-the girls are all smaller though! But on the chart she's between 50-75th percentile for height so im not sure if she's really tall or not. Im 5'10 and oh 6'2 so she'll be my height probably or a bit shorter if she takes after the females on oh's side of family

A1983, wow you and your dh are tall! I personally think 5'10'' is such a great height! My 14 year old daughter (different biological father than other dds and short man lol) is very close to 5'9''. People are always commenting on how tall she is. I am just under 5'8". So it seems as though she has taken my height completely and then some. lol. My husband is also only 5'8''. We have a 9 year old girl (so far average height) and Sophia, born on June 21 2013, so she is almost 19 months. The only explanation I have for my 2 tall daughters size are that on my fathers side there is dutch ancestry and form what I hear they were very tall people. So who knows. I do notice Sophie's weight gain slowing down now, she is extremely active. Up from morning until night, no naps, she goes from 14 to 15 hours a day non stop. My 9 year old is also extremely active so I have my hands full here. I notice you are expecting again, congratulations!! Is this going to be your 2nd?

Jess ~ Sophia is tall! Genetics are interesting, my gf has 2 boys in college and you wouldn't know they are brothers. Her oldest is 5'8 and skinny, the youngest is 6'1" and thick!

A1983 ~ Nia is destined to be tall :cloud9: Hope you are feeling well!

Laura ~ How is the TWW? Not long now before it's time to test!! FX'd!

Amy & Leslie ~ Is today a work holiday for you? If so, enjoy your 3 day weeekend!

Have you heard the way to calculate your child's adult height is to double how tall they are at 2yo?

Afm ~ Nothing new...still symptomless and still spotting *sigh* One week until my next appt.

Yes ive heard that Angel, and it's supposed to be quite accurate! Doubled now she'll be 5ft 3! So we'll see how much she grows in 6 months! The last 6 months she's grown 6cm...so that would make her 5ft 7 if she continues to grow at the same rate.

Are you able to distract yourself Angel? The first trimester is hard enough without waiting for extra scans too.

Good morning ladies!!!

Laura, how is your mom doing? Any test results back yet?

Angel, Im so sorry you are still spotting. Grrr to your dr for making you wait so long. I dont understand why they arent doing betas or anything to see if your HCG is still rising. Hope you are coping with all of this ok hn. :hugs:

Jess, Bethany, Leslie, and our new ladies....

Happy Monday to everyone! :D

A1984 ~ Pierce keeps me plenty distracted! I've already accepted there is a 90% chance this is a mmc...how likely is it that I would get a +ve HPT 6dpo? I hate that my history has made me a a bit of a pessimist.

Amy ~ My Dr said at this point betas could fluctuate, I wish I had pushed more for betas...maybe they don't double at this point in a pregnancy , but they could slowly be dropping!! :dohh: I look forward to seeing what your new Dr says this week (Weds, right?), is it a long drive or does CCRM have satellite offices?

What do you mean regarding the 6dpo pregnancy test? As in it should therefore be a strong pregnancy?

I am annoyed at how blasé they are when you have all these emotions involved. It's just not on. Another group im in a woman got given progesterone and regular scans and it's her first pregnancy with no known risks.

Angel, I just don't understand how your doctor can use the wait and see approach with you. She should have listened to you when you told her that there is no way possible that you oved late and that you are absolutely sure how far along you should be. The one thing I hate is to be dismissed by docs. I know hcg isn't suppose to be doubling at this point, but if you were to take a test a few days apart, you could at least see if your hcg is going up or slowly decreasing. What would it have taken for her to put a lab order in and have you do that! grrrrrrr. Over here in San Fran the docs seem to take this stuff very seriously. At least with my experience, they would give me a ton of reassurance during the early part of my pregnancies because of spotting and cramping I had. As a matter of fact when they couldn't tell me if I was mc or not they still had me take hcg tests a few days apart. Sorry for the rant! I just don't like the way you were dismissed. Interestingly, I have read that this early on it is extremely hard to get a correct measurement and some people don't see a heartbeat until toward the end up the 6th week. So there is still the possibility that her measurements were a little bit off and baby is being shy. I guess we will see soon. So sorry that you are going through this. :nope:

Is your dh there with you Angel? How many naps does Pierce take? 1 or 2? I wish Sophia napped. Oh and you wouldn't believe it but even though she is up for the whole day going and going, she is hard to wind down at night. Its so hard to get her to relax and go to sleep. She fights it as much as she can. She is a bit of a stubborn little girl, I wonder where she gets it from! lol. Natalie was the same exact way. I am thinking Sophie might be more active than Natalie though. I have to be constantly constantly watching her because she is a daredevil! I am surprised she doesn't weigh less because she is so so active you would think she is burning so many calories! She was just weighed her has gained about half a pound since eating more, just about 30 lbs now!! Gosh I hope this doesn't mean she is going to have a slow metabolism! Pierce doing anything cute lately! I love how he copies everything you say. I bet he sounds so cute.

A1983, does your dd nap during the day? How are you doing with the new pregnancy and taking care of your dd? Is it hard so far? My 3 dds are all roughly 6 years apart (although my Sophie was born 6 months after my Angel babies due date), so I never had a toddler while pregnant. Good thing is she keeps you active which is great for pregnancy. :flower:

What do you mean regarding the 6dpo pregnancy test? As in it should therefore be a strong pregnancy? .

Sorry, I meant by my calculations (aka +ve OPK), I was approx 13dpo when a +ve finally appeared on an IC. If the Dr's measurements are right that means I was only 6dpo when I saw a +ve. So 6 days after conception an HPT showing positive is highly unlikely. Am I making sense? I have to tweak the dates (dpo) to match the measurements. I'm still rattled by the lack of "standard practice" protocol with ob/gyn offices. I can say my RE didn't offer me progesterone even when I spotted with Pierce, but I had weekly scans from 5w - 10w.

Jess ~ Soph sounds like so much fun!! Pierce is a busy body, but still needs 2 naps. He grows horns if he misses one or doesn't get his full nap out - poor kid just gets so ornery! He naps 11-12 and approx 3-5.

Oh my battery is going to go flat! Love & hugs! Ttyl!
