We're just home from our lake place...so peaceful! Flying with a sleepy toddler wasn't too bad once I got him comfy enough to doze off! He had a blast fishing with his Daddy.

I agree with Laura in that stress can definitely play a huge role in messing with af. You have been under more stress lately than I have heard you be under in the past 3 years. Im hoping the move will eliminate that and you are able to return back to your normal af schedule. Cute about the ducks too! heheh Have fun at the park!

Laura, Im so so so hoping that he is eligable for the treatment as well. Im so sorry that you and S have to go through this... I really am. I wish there was something I could do or say to just make it all better and go away. Did they say how high risk this surgery would be?

Amy, thanks! She is such a sassy kid- I love her fire! She likes to run into her bedroom and slam the door in our faces. It is like living with a teenager.

I think that you are so right about the stress. It has been amplified since we moved out of state and there will probably be more when we move again. Most of our stuff is still boxed but my husband always insists that we move ourselves. I'm not sure how much more I will take before I have to just show my ass and refuse lol.

Oh and you guys- the ducks and geese ate an entire bag of cat food! Even the small birds tried eating it which was bizarre because I bought bird feed especially for them. Oh well.
I tried to chase a duck but they waddle away quite quickly. The drake was rather put out with me but he got over it when I left some food in apology. I'm sure the geese would let me touch them but they intimidate me (because they are so much bigger and meaner).

Hi ladies! Sorry been mia. Been caught up with life and been mostly following Amy's journal with all of the exciting things happening for her! !! Sophia is turning 2 on Sunday!! I will post a pic when I get a chance. No more chunky Sophie. She has slimmed down a lot. Even lost a couple pounds. U can even see her ribs a tad bit. But she is doing great other than painful teething (11 teeth now).

Glad too see u back Bethany!! Angel, hope little David is getting stronger and thriving!

Baby David, is off the ventilator again. Poor fella has been suffering strokes, a result of the surgery, so there is significant brain damage. We are all just glad he is still with us! My SIL has grown so much from all of this, I cannot say it enough, I am so proud of her. She deserves a parade for everything she has been and continues to go through!

awww too cute Angel regarding the yogurt I'm so sorry to hear about David. I don't know how women do it. Hearing about what Laura goes through regarding S's seizures and what your SIL goes through... I couldn't even imagine. I agree that they deserve parades! Do the Dr's say that David still needs more surgeries? If so, will they be safe given how he reacted after this last surgery? Massive hugs to you... all while your DH is gone too And you don't bother us silly... no one here is annoying or bothersome in the least!

Angel, I am so sorry about your nephew. I cannot imagine how stressed your SIL is- my thoughts are with her.
Boo to your husband being away. Having to parent alone stinks!
Oh and yes, I will be moving back closer to family. Super excited!

Amy, how is the hydration going? Sometimes in pregnancy it is hard to feel like you are drinking enough, even when you are drinking all the time (and peeing all the time haha)

My DH is gone, he has already started and is securing housing for us. It is just a matter of time at this point and I cannot wait!
But until then I went clothes shopping at Family Dollar here (swanky ) and bought a bunch of super cute stuff. Oh and I got some chile mango suckers though the brand is different then the ones sold back in Texas- there isn't as much chile on the outside. Which is totally cool...but then the mango sucker part doesn't have chili mixed into it! That's the bummer. Love the spice and sweet together. Candy heaven.
Anyways, Lorelei and I totally "shared" one of the suckers today at the kiddie pool. We spent way too much time having fun in the sun (for me- I'm sunburned. She is not as fair lol) and she went down for a nap easily. But I'm tired as hell and can't sleep. Weird!

Bethany, I've never had those chile mango suckers, think I've seen them though. Ouch to the burn. I tanned as a kid but now I only burn (I'm very fair like u). I have even had 2nd degree burns from spending a couple of hours at a water park (very painful and embarrassing). Glad your dh is finding a new place for all of you. Are u moving back to Texas?

Angel, poor David!! I just don't know the right thing to say for what all of you are going through. I just can't imagine the heartache of your brother and sil. How is Pierce doing? It must be hard for both u and Pierce when your dh leaves on a business trip. Have any plans on how to kill time when he is gone?

Oh you should find those suckers. They are amazing. We have a little Mexican store in my hometown and I'd go there for the candy. The mango suckers and tamarind candy is so good.

Bethany ~ I found a Vero brand on Amazon...they have lollipops and Gummies. While I love Hot Tomales, I'm not sure about these gummies though :/ Too cute you found outfits---you can buy stuff for girls anywhere!

Jess ~ I burn super easy too! I bathe in sunscreen before I head out the door. A carefree young Angel would go to a tanning bed to get some sun (thinking it was more controlled, not knowing it was still damaging). Now I'm all about my Clarin's self tanner!
