For those that had their first u/s already..

They did end up doing transvaginal for mine. Tried abdominal for about 5 seconds before asking me to empty my bladder. It just wasn't possible to see much of anything with my tilted uterus.

She asked me to insert it myself. I was surprised.

Cleckner- I seriously think you may be my long lost sister!

My first ultrasounds have always been vaginal. I have never been asked to insert it myself and I didn't know they would possibly even ask that!

Just an update. I had my first u/s. Everything looks good so far. It was transvaginal and they inserted it.
