Formula at room temperature?

You should make sure that when you make up the feed the water is over 70 degrees so that it kills any bacteria, but then you can cool hte bottle down to whatever temperature your baby likes really. My hv told me to buy a thermos flask and keep the boiled water in there and then use that to make up the bottles as and when I need them. I'm lucky Alex isn't fussy and will have it warm, room temp or cold - it makes things easier!

when i had jayden the hospital said i could give feeds at room temp or warm... also if you make a feed it has to be used within 3 hours unless kept refridgerated then its 24 hours...so yeah you can! xxx

same here...it makes life so much easier especially when your out and you cant warm it! xxx

yeah room temp is fine - i do this when we go out with a feed sometimes x x

With my first child I purchased a baby thermos flasks (fisher price) where you just pour the hot water into the lid (which was long) and place the bottle in the water for a few minutes where it would warm it. This was so easy when I was out shopping. Luckily I still have the flask to this day and plan to use it again with my 2nd child.

i give it at room temp. it means i can take the bottle up to bed with me out of the fridge then it comes up to room temp when he wakes up and i just add the powder. he doesnt like it warm, he spits it everywhere, messy boy! so if she will take it like that then go for it x

I have always fed Chloes her bottles at room temperature as she took to them straight away, its so much easier to do it this way cause there is no heating up or anything.

I tried to give her a heated up one the other week as she had abit of a cold etc and she would not take it.

hope this helps x

Same here. We use water right out of the tap, just like the doc told me to. Doesn't want it boiled or warmed up or anything cause of the flouride in it or something. Char had all hers right at room temp, so does Austin. SOOOOO much easier when you're out or in the middle of the night when you're dead tired
