Found a lump ...

I felt a lump in my perineum a few months back and it was tiny not painful, didn't think much of it, I had a feel today and it's gotten alot bigger
And seems swollen? I know things can swell up down there at this stage but all my lady parts are ok apart from my perineum, it looks very swollen. Should I mention it today when I go to the assessment clinic for a scan? It's not painful but swollen and got bigger. Are there any glands down there? Or isit something to worry about?

Could it be piles hun? Piles are swollen blood vessells that hang out of the bottom and appear like lumps or "grapes". They can be itchy, sore or painless. They get more swollen if touched or irritated and are extremely common in pregnancy - almost everyone gets them at some stage.

I can only feel the lump if I feel it from my vagina opening, sorry for the details, it's closer to my vagina opening, not near my bum, I have had trouble going lately but it's not by my bum, it's the bit that they cut when u have an epositomy thingy. If I pinch that bit of skin it's in there. maybe a gland?

My sister has piles towards the vaginal opening so its possible...there are also lymph nodes there too, so perhaps a swollen gland. I would ask at your appointment, they will get asked this sort of thing all the time so don't feel embarrassed. Good luck!

Not sure what it is, but I've got one.

It came up after I had my son 4 years ago and has been there ever since; smaller when I'm not pregnant bui always there.

I had an episiotomy with my son so always assumed it was scar tissue, but if you havent had a baby before and have one maybe not...

Sorry I can't help more but at least u know you're not alone, lol.

there is a gland there that can get inflamed which is then called a bartholins cyst.It can go on its own,but sometimes bleeds as mine did with my 7th baby-scary to find blood,but nothing to worry about.Worth mentioning it and then they can check it.I had no treatment as the bleeding was it bursting(!) and then it settled down with no issues.

I was also going to say this could b bartholins cyst. There r two glands by there and when blocked they can form a lump, anything from pea sized to golf ball sized. Google it n have a look. I found one this week but turns out mine was a blocked hair follicle that popped once squeezed quite hard xx

It sounds like a bartholin cyst to me too, i had one a while back for a few weeks then it went. They're perfectly harmless just can get infected sometimes and become painful. Have it checked out tho to be sure x
