Freaking out please don’t tell me I’ve just taken clomid and I could Be pregnant :(

Today is what I thought was CD2.. I started bleeding yesterday morning this is pretty much the same as AF flow is medium and red having some intense cramps so i assumed is AF!! Last cycle lasted 43 days I kept getting evaps on tests but I tested this morning to be double sure and this showed up strait away now I’m really confused wether to resume taking the clomid or take another couple of tests!

First test is dye running across! And second and third are drying x

Can you maybe do a blood test just to be sure.

Take a FRER or bloodtest - thats the only way to be sure.

I agree frer to double check. I feel like I possibly see something on the third picture but I'm not sure. I'd try another brand test just to make sure.

I can see something. It's hard to tell from the pics but I think it could just be an indent/shadow from the test line. Maybe a FRER is a good idea.

Ive used these religiously if they’re negative they’re negative. Frer I have lost my faith in them I am bleeding a fair bit so I’m really not sure what to think! I’m holding my wee for 4 hours and doing a Lloyd’s pharmacy one as they’re 10miu and quite reliable..

If you think there is a high chance you are pregnant I would say you should probably stop the clomid or speek to a doctor about it. Clomid is a class X drug which means there is some evidence of it causing birth defects when taken during pregnancy. As scary as that sounds the evidence is usually based on animal studies where high doses are given throughout pregnancy. The small amount you have taken is very unlikely to be an issue but I wouldn't want to carry on without being sure I wasn't pregnant if it was me.

I’m hoping I’m not if that’s the case because surely even with this bleeding it probably doesn’t sound good! I’ve only literally taken one tablet so I can only assume if this other test comes back negative then it’s the tests that are faulty or if it comes back faint I’ll contact my doctors!

Clomid can give a false positive - have seen it a few times on this forum.

You didnt mention that before However...Clomid can give a false positive (in general) - it can also do a lot of other things not included in the leaflet. Been there, done that.

Bloodtests are the most reliable.

I’ve taken it before but years ago in 2012. I’ll test again in the evening and one in morning I’m just hoping it’s a dodgy batch x

Either way If I was .. I doubt this period like bleeding is a good sign :/
