I have never seen L-carnitine sold on it's own...have you used it?

I've only noticed it in amino acid blends.

DH has it on its own, I think. Extra amino acids would be a good thing, anyway...
No, I only took the COQ10 because I found it in a liquid.
I have a very hard time swallowing large pills.

You can get 500mg capsules at GNC - that's where we get them. Not cheap, but easier than swallowing that many pills!

You can get it at Whole foods and other local heath stores. Yes my daughter has red hair, blue eyes and asian features.
