Oh me too, I know it’s bad timing but I hope I am regardless

Thank you guys for the thoughts and prayers. We’re getting through and I’m so so thankful I have so many people that have been there for us.

@shaescott I hope you had a good birthday!!! I’m def hoping you get a birthday baby as a late present!

@Jules8 Oh my word. I'm so so sorry about the loss of your brother!! I'm 42, so your bro is only one year older than me. I'm shocked. What happened?? If you don't mind me asking?? It must be so hard for his sons to lose their dad at such a young age. Sending prayers to your sister-in-law and family.

Just started on Vitamin C yesterday evening, apparently taking 750mg of vitamin C during the luteal phase was found to significantly increase progesterone levels in women with subpar progesterone, and led to a significant increase in pregnancy rates. Since I’ve had some cycles with subpar progesterone levels, I decided I might as well take 750mg of vitamin C, just for a little boost in chances. DH is on board, he believes that we should create a hospitable environment for an embryo in case I did conceive, even though he half hopes I didn’t conceive because of money right now.

4dpo (more accurately 3.25dpo) progesterone is 7.2, so it looks like we’re on the right track for adequate progesterone. Fingers crossed! My temp just isn’t as high as it normally is, but it did start quite low, and I did see a solid rise, so hopefully it’s just in progress.

I’m going nuts. I haven’t had this good of a chance since my honeymoon in 2023, and my progesterone wasn’t terribly adequate that cycle. It was crazy hot in Italy and I did not plan for relaxation time, so we were go go go the entire 2.5 weeks. So I think my body was just under too much stress. I’m hoping that my cold and lack of sleep the past few nights due to waking up coughing doesn’t cause any issues. But my body definitely feels like it’s under less stress than it was in Italy, so fingers crossed. I just can’t believe I have to wait another 6 days to start testing.

Oh that's so nice you had your honeymoon in Italy, it's my favourite country, such amazing food! Hope you are pregnant!!
My opk was a bit darker today, hopefully a positive later but I can't trust the things

Oh it was amazing, the food was out of this world. We dream of mozzarella di bufala
Fx’d you’ll get that positive!

I’m not thrilled by my temp rise this cycle, but I also started so darn cold. I was running 96.5-96.7 in the days before ovulation. So now at 4-5dpo, my temp is only 97.35. I checked with an oral thermometer (not BBT) to make sure the Oura ring is accurate, and it said 97.4, so looks like it’s spot on. It agreed with my pre-O temp too the one time I checked it. My TSH was normal like a month ago, so I have no idea why I run so cold. Yesterday’s progesterone of 7.2 at 3-4dpo seems fairly reassuring, so hopefully it’ll be enough.

Nothing exciting on the chart today

Still booing at the temp being below 97.5. At least my progesterone seems semi-decent. I decided I’m gonna get a 7dpo progesterone draw since serum is more accurate than urine, cuz it’s a metabolite of progesterone so apparently it’s better for general ovulation confirmation than it is for tracking exact levels. If it’s low and I end up not pregnant, I’ll have more information for when we do end up TTC.

Symptoms: woke up with acid reflux. Went away once I got up. Also very gassy this morning  when I took my meds I had to eat a slice of cheese about a minute later cuz my stomach was not thrilled with me. The cheese fixed it though lol.

Jules I am so, so sorry for your loss. Prayers ro you and your family, it hurts my heart to even imagine it.

How is your pregnancy going? I can’t believe you’re 33 weeks! Where has the time gone??!!

Shae omg I am missing the excitement!! Ahhh fingers so tightly crossed. Just remember though, even with perfect health and timing it can take a few tries. It doesn’t mean a thing about your fertility! But dang if this isn’t great timing with your ov day, and that was a super blazer positive! Fxfxfx

When are you testing?

Afm 2 and a half weeks left at most. That’s insane. I’m finally getting around to the idea of 4 kids but still super nervous…but I’m definitely turning the corner into “I’m so uncomfortable, let’s just do this” territory. I’m not mentally 100% prepared but I’m physically feeling very done with being pregnant.

I have been meeting different OB’s in my practice as it could be anyone doing my c section if I go into labor and wow have there been some bad ones…crossing my fingers I het my choice doctor, if not another one that I like enough…but the priority is me and baby healthy

@shaescott I have everything crossed for you! Hoping it’s implantation.
@gigglebox Thank you. I’m taking things one day at a time…but it seems to be flying anyway. Pregnancy wise I feel good. I had my first weekly NST today and baby girl was Wild. lol She kept kicking the monitor off and rolling side to side. It took 2 people to get it on there to be consistent and I had to sit so still. I can’t believe you’re so close too! You’ll have 4 first then I’ll be right behind you. We’re in this together! I’ve been talking to people who all said the transition to 4 was easier than 3 so let’s hope that’s true. lol

Gigs I’ll start testing on Friday the 25th. It’ll be like 9.5dpo, I ovulated at 11 PM or so on the 15th, so I’m considering it 9-10dpo lol. Inito says I’m 6dpo and FF says I’m 7dpo  I really hope it works out, because there’s a very low likelihood that DH will let it happen again until we’re ready to TTC. He was saying we should just do withdrawal all cycle. It’s just because of finances, we did some math and realized now was not a good idea.

Sorry that not all the OBs are great. I’ve heard that’s the problem with practices like that, you don’t get the doctor you chose most of the time. I mean, it usually ends up that way cuz there’s no way they can be on call 24/7/365. But it still sucks. So exciting that you’re so close!!

@Jules8 sounds like she’s gonna be a wild child!

Go, progesterone, go! Went from 8.1 yesterday to 12.9 today! I added in some fake pre-O temps for visualization purposes, so that’s why those are there now lol

Here’s a 7dpo test for science  silly me to think I could hold off POAS until Friday. It’s a baseline, ya know? ;)

Of course!! This is absolutely necessary because if you get a shadow line you need the surely negative test to compare it to ;) chart is looking good so far! I know finances may be stressful but trust me, you’ll figure it out and it will all work out.

Jukes oddly enough I’ve had no NST  they told me in the beginning that they would do them weekly starting at 36 weeks but that did not happen…so idk what that’s about but I figure since I’ve had no complications, maybe that’s why? They do check his HB at every appointment and my fundal height…all seems fine other than being big, of course.

Sadly my platelets are going down :( this was a huge fear of mine last pregnancy but everything was fine in the end. Really hoping for the same this time. I really don’t want any out-of-norm interventions.

See, that’s what I was thinking  I’ll have to write the dpo on it later. It’s in the trash rn but it’s alone in the trash cuz we had just emptied it. We’re taking an emergency trip to Boston, DH’s childhood dog lost function of her legs and was in a ton of pain and they discovered she has a tumor that’s destroyed her spine and she’s permanently paralyzed, so they’re putting her down. We’re driving down to be there. We’ll get back tomorrow afternoon. I brought my Inito monitor with me for my daily hormone testing tomorrow morning lol, and I changed my 7dpo progesterone lab work to a location near DH’s parents house, it’s through LabCorp so there’s a ton of locations, so I’ll get that drawn tomorrow morning still.

Sorry to hear about your platelets :( maybe they aren’t doing the NSTs because you’re getting a c-section? Idk why they’d skip it otherwise.
