We went to a friends house and put Ella down at her normal time, swaddled with white noise in her carry cot and she slept for 3.5 hours!!! Didnt wake up till well into the fireworks, then quickly put her in the car seat and drove home, she was totally zonked out.

That's amazing! Nice you were able to have some fun! :)

my lo was totally chilled out and slept through it all, happy new year . :)

Had an appointment today and cervical length has gone from over 4cm to 1cm. There is softening (think that's the term) so body's getting into birth preparal mode. Doctor said, "Das kann alles oder nichts heißen". Getting my hospital bag packed tonight in any case!

Oh wow! youre getting so close!

A little too close for comfort! A part of me wants this to be months away but then again I want it over with.. just don't feel ready but I guess no one does!

i know how you feel lol and im still 2 weeks behind you, had my check yesterday and all going good but we have spoken with the doc and due to how bad my hip has goten and that ive finaly been diagnosed with spd that a planned section may be the best option for me so i dont damage my hip any worse as we still do not know what exactly is going on there, so have to book in with the hospital this week and discuss it

That's no good. :( Hope you've been able to take it easy, especially towards the end here. It will be nice to get clarity on the best route to take when you speak with the hospital doctor about it. The nice thing about a c-section is knowing exactly when baby's going to come. :)
