we were decided on laken lynn for a girl, but one of my best friend's nieces name is laken and I just can't bring myself to use a name that someone I know has.. I know it probably sounds stupid, but its just a thing for me..

so my DH suggested Laiklyn (lake-lynn) which I actually like. Having a hard time coming up with a middle name because I want it to "mean" something. Like Lynn is my middle name and was also what my granddad called my mom. So it means something..

anyway the reason for my post is.. I'm having a hard time finding a spelling for laiklyn that I actually like.

Anyone have suggestions?

We've discussed using this name before, with the spelling Laiken.

Lake-Lynn is tricky. How about just Lakelynn? I feel as though people might pronounce it wrong though.

Laken is pretty cool - but I actually like Laiklyn even more!

Lakelynn
Lakelan

(I wonder if ppl would mispronounce it though and say "Luh-kell-in")

I think I like your original spelling best: Laiklyn

How about Larkin/Larkyn?

I like the spelling Laiklyn the best....but there's Laeklyn, Laiklin, Laeklin, Layklyn, Layklin

I would say Lakelynn would be the most straightforward. When I see "Laiklyn" I want to pronounce it Like-lyn, but that could just be my accent... not sure.

What about Laiklyn Rae? You'd defo need a one syllable middle name for her x
Edit: Sorry just reread your post, I thought u were after a middle name oops

Agree totally
