Is it just me or does anyone else really feel those kicks when layed on your stomach. When I'm sat up I can just feel the dull thuds, but as soon as I move onto my stomach I can really feel those kicks!
Just wondering if anyone else can feel them stronger layed on the front too and also it is safe to lay on your stomach still isn't it (not sleeping just when playing on the xbox or reading) :flower:

i've only just started feeling flutters and it hurts to lie on my stomach now but think its safe cos baby is well protected aww must be so exciting to feel baby kicking! :)

I'd be kicking too if someone 42 times my size was laying on me! Haha

You can lay on your tummy as long as it's comfortable.

i was just searching on google about how I can feel baby a lot when i lay on my back, cos I wanted to know why this was . when I lay on my front though I feel her kick quite a bit, but I try not to do that because I feel like I'm suffocating her lol.

Aw I don't lay on my back a lot I always used to lay on my stomach and its still not uncomfortable or painful yet so I thought it would be ok. I knew LO was well protected but I just needed the extra reassurance :p

i feel flutters, like if lie down and put my hands on my stomach whilst putting a tiny bit of pressure on it it feels like something is moving inside like a fish :haha: it SO hard to describe but i've only felt this the last few days so i can only think that it is LO moving around , and if not then my stomach is playing tricks on me :flower:

I was really uncomfortable laying on my stomach. A lot of women can lay on their tummy all the way through their pregnancy... I was just really uncomfortable laying like that. Maybe it was all in my head.

I used to lay down on my back and could feel LO moving around. It was the first way DH felt LO. She would just move from one side to the other. DH LOVED feeling her! But if I was sitting up, he couldn't feel her moving/kicking (until I was about 22 weeks.) :flow:

I can still feel them on my back but on my stomach it just feels way stronger :haha:
I do it playing on the xbox out of habit and then realise and think, oh crap my babys gonna be a pancake if I keep doing this

I felt the first kicks when I was laying on my tummy and I felt them like that the most. Now I have started to feel em on my back too. And also when Im standing, but mostly I feel them when laying on my back.

my little girl hates any pressure on my belly; its not dangerous to lay on your belly but I tell you, it gets bloody uncomfortable!

I find this too! Especially when I turn over and lay on my front in the bath. xx
