yep the last breastfeeding article they did was a pile of shit and so was this one. Lorraine Tit Head Kelly said she didn't think bfeeding in public was a problem if the woman was 'being discrete and sat in corner' - twat. Not informative or helpful in the slightest i was annoyed at myself for watching it

This is my 4th time BFeeding one of my LOs and altho i was shy with my first im now comfortable doing it anywhere and god help anyone who says anything to me about it

I am still shy about feeding in public. I managed it for the 1st time last thursday in the food court at the shopping centre, but we hid at the back. I am trying to find a good top for my boobs as at the moment its soo much faffing about getting my boob out - its 2 hand job, which means that my boob is then swinging about.

A few weeks ago we were out and the lady beside me was preparing to BF, she much have thought I was bout to ask her to stop as I was staring at her - I was just watching HOW she did it, but she was blessed with these lovely good sized boobies that caused her no problems. She latched the baby on, then walked off with her companion pushing the buggy.

I wish I could do it that discreetly, and confidently!

Part of me actually wants someone to confront me when I am feeding, so that I can tell them they cannot ask me to stop feeding in public as its sex discrimination if they do, and there is a law to say that we can do it!

I don't "do" GMTV, and the comments they chose to read out don't surprise me. It's awful how ignorant some people are. I'm shy about BFing in public, not really done it yet tbh, only used feeding rooms and a pub loo once - it was a really nice loo with a sofa btw! And there were people coming and going lots on that occasion.

But all this publicity has made me somewhat peeved and keen to get out there and do it just to do it! Not to wind anyone up, but to do my bit to make BFing in public more common and therefore more "acceptable" to people.

The reason people are uncomfortable with it is because they don't see it often, or don't realise they do lol!
