Godparents.......Help Please?

when my baby is born, i want him/her to be christened but im not sure how many godparents i can choose to have. i want 3 godmothers an 2 god fathers... would this be acceptable?

when i got Lily christened, i got her christened as a Christian. not sure about catholic, but he said to me i could have as many as i wanted, but just not too many thats its stupid! hope this helped xx
