Going in for my first appointment with the midwife *UPDATE*

Well I have my appointment this afternoon! I'm kinda nervous, though I know everything will be fine. The receptionist called this an 'interview' so I imagine its just a meet and greet, getting histories etc.
My boss knows the midwife they assigned me and said she was really nice and very competent so that made me feel a lot better.
Is there anything I should be prepared for? (I have printed out my chart)

Its at 1:30pm so I still have a couple hours to go!

Well there was absolutely nothing to worry about as nothing happened. All it was was her talking generally about the practice and whether or not I wanted a midwife. I didn't have any histories taken or anything. That won't happen until Jan 11 2010 and then she'll talk about when we will get a scan! Its looking like I will have to see about getting a private one done! oh well! lol

Prob too late now but the things they asked me that I would have been foxed on were DHs family medical history etc - luckily he had the day off and was around!!
