Going off the pill

Hello ladies! I am 36 and ttc our 1st. I was on the pill for 20 years straight.
I went off the pill in the beginning of November and have had some side effects. I am wondering if you had any when you went off the pill??

I gained a good 8 pounds and have been breaking out like I am going through puberty! Even on my chest and neck. I don't usually have a problem with acne either. Also, still didn't get AF. I has been 43 days now. Took 3 tests, all negative.

I said in another post that my doc said they won't give me a blood test until I miss it for 3 months, to see what is going on, or if I get a positive test.

I am frustrated. Several times I thought I was getting AF, all crampy, then nothing.

Any other ladies have anything happen when they went off the pill?

Your body needs to settle; you were on the pill for a long time and your body needs to get rid of stuff. I am sure it will all work out in its own time luv, try and be patient. I was on the pill for some time and on stopping I lost weight, but had spots etc.. its hormonal I think xx
