Good estradiol level day 7 of DR'ing? Help!

Hi there! Question for those of you who have been here done this lol....

So....I am doing my 1st IVF cycle and am on the long Lupron protocol (no BCP) and on day 7 of the Lupron my estradiol was 125. I know it should be lower than 60 before starting stims. Doc said everything looks good during the scan and I go back Friday. AF is going to start tomorrow (typical pre-AF spotting/cramping started yest.) and doctor said we will start stims on 2nd or 3rd day of AF.

Questions:

125 is too high to be considered "suppressed" for stims to begin, but how much lower can it go in 4 days?

Is it normal to be this number on only day 7 of DR?

What happens if this number fails to decrease though my AF starts?

Anything else I should know?

You should be fine in 4 days chick.... .and you are still taking your DR drug, aren't you? Anyway, i'm sure they'll check you again to confirm all is in order all you need is a thin lining, no cyst and no big follies....

Oh thanks for your answer! Between impending AF, the Lupron and being tired I was about to have a meltdown. Yes, I am still on the Lupron. I am guessing that once AF is in her full glory this causes E2 to further decrease? 125 seems so high! I know if I were 125 on day 2-3 of AF I'd be in trouble, but that's just a few days away. Thanks Brumbar for answering. When are you "off break" for TTC?

hi alexa i know nothing about these numbers but was just thinking how quickly progesterone levels change, when having day 21 bloods being a few days earlier or later can make a huge difference to the numbers so i would think the numbers there checking for you it will be the same and they can change really quickly, sorry for waffling on but it was just a thought x

I think you are right though rafwife...I know they drop with AF big time...so yea. Gonna quit worrying. No sense anyway.....whatever happens happens. Thanks!
