At the moment Molly has a bottle roughly every 4 hours, and is having porridge at breakfast, and 2 cubes of puree at dinner. She still wakes in the night for a feed. I am going to introduce lunch next week, and Im thinking of doing something like this:
7.30am porridge and milk
10.30 milk
12.30 lunch and milk
4.00 dinner and milk
7.30/8.00 milk and bed
11pm(ish) dream feed
Does this sound ok? She will only drink 3oz milk in one sitting (which isnt as bad as it sounds as she was a preemie and on prescription high calorie formula and putting weight on fine). My only concern is that feeding slightly more often than every 4 hours may make her want feeding more regularly in the night rather than having the opposite effect. What do you think?
