Miscarried at 10w (MMC) in October and now think I'm having a chemical. 14dpo today and test is lighter than yesterday and symptoms have gone today.

I'm devastated. Why oh why does this happen? It's so cruel. Feel like I'm right back to October.

Test getting lighter.

I don't know how I'm going to get through this again. How can anyone ever be relaxed after getting a BFP? It's just constant fear.

I wouldn't necessarily trust those cheap tests, I had real problems with them whilst waiting for negative after MMC and again with my opk's.

I would suggest getting a digital or another couple of frers, test a few days apart and look again :hugs: if it does turn out to be a chemical then we are all here for you :hugs:

I don't see what you see at all. I think they're getting darker?? Anyway, try not to worry yet. Lines vary for many reasons including batch sensitivity, dilution of urine etc. I don't think there's any evidence that there's anything wrong. :hugs:

Also, although you're usually told to use fmu, some women do get darker lines in the afternoon!

I was just as worried as you - have a look at my testing thread. I was testing each day and the tests didn't seem to be progressing. You will only see a real increase every 48 hours.

Your tests dont look any lighter. Id wait a couple of days. Fingers crossed

Much lighter this evening. Not going to hold out any hope anymore.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. The exact same thing happened to me last month where my lines weren't progressing and after a few days they were negative. That was my second CP. Do you happen to know if you have low progesterone? I do and it's possible that's what was causing the CPs but no way to know for sure. I would call your doctor ASAP to see if you can get tested. And in the meantime, you can get OTC progesterone. It won't help if it's non-viable but it can if it's a healthy pregnancy.

My progesterone level was 138 at 9dpo so I don't think it was that. My pregnancy that lasted for 10 weeks had a progesterone level of 76.

I know I released 2 eggs this time so that might be why it was higher.

What was your progesterone levels if you don't mind me asking?

Wow, those are great levels! That's definitely not your problem. With my first CP, it was .6 and with my second, it was 7.4.
