Hey ladies - sorry I have not been posting too much in here... I hope to be a posting fool soon once we start the fertility treatments back up.
I just wanted to share a little story. I found an OLD friend on facebook last week that I had not been in touch with in probably about 13 years or so. We were close in Elementary school, and drifted apart in high school. Anyway, her profile picture is of twin babies, so we got to talking, and it turns that her twins are IVF babies, conceived at the same fertility clinic I go to! She conceived on her 2nd IVF (her sister also had several unsuccessful IUIs, then conceived thru IVF) and she was just so sweet with everything she was telling me. She said if I ever need anyone to talk/vent/cry/scream to, for me to call her anytime, day or night and she would be there.

It truly is amazing the bond that women struggling with infertility have.

It was a "2 for 1" happy experience for me. Not only did I get in touch with a really sweet old friend, but to also hear that her and her sister both conceived by going to the same fertility institute that I go to gave me a glimmer of hope, especially since both were not on the first try. Now, don't get me wrong, I know that every single person is different, and will have different outcomes, but it is always nice to hear sucess stories when it comes to assisted conception.
