hi ladies,

After 8 months ttc after my mc in October last year, i have got my bfp : )

Pic attached.

THE INTERNET CHEAPIE PREG TEST STRIPS THAT CLAIM 10MIU DETECTION DIDNT EVEN SHOW UP MY BFP!! USE SUPERDRUG OWN BRAND EARLY TEST IN A PINK BOX, THEY DETECT AT 10MIU TOO AND SHOWED MY BFP UP STRAIGHT AWAY

Hubby got diagnosed this month with a low sperm count and we are awaiting referral to a fertility specialist and urologist but I have been taking B6, using preseed, vitamins and we had lots of sex, sometimes twice a day in the 5 days BEFORE ovulation ( used opk's and could see when the line would start to get darker but not almost positive that ovulation was close).

I wish you all the best and keep trying and go see your dr if you have been trying for a long while with no joy.

This site has got me through so many challenges and gave me brill advice.

I just hope this one sticks xxx

Hi, thankyou.

I havent had a progesterone test yet, im seeing the dr on Thursday and she will guide me as to what i need to do. I was taking B6 100mg from Holland and barrett and also tesco pregnancy mutlivitamins. My periods went back in sync but some months they were shorter than others and i would get spotting up to 6 days before my actual period come. My advice is seek dr help as thats what they are there for and they can assist you ( my dr sent me for bloods and ultrasound when i said about the spotting and the fact we were ttc with no joy ) and also buy good branded opks and preg tests. All internet cheapies never worked for me. I used digital clearblue ovulation stick as they were most accurate and when i got a round blank circle ( meaning not ovulating yet ) i took the cartridge out to see how dark the test line was and i got to know a pattern. Taking my temp made no difference to me at all and just confused me!!

Big congratulations :D Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!

Congrats!!!

I have to say, I constantly use internet cheapies (you can't beat 50 for $20 delivered!) but in my experience I have to wait about ten full minutes before reading them. Even when I first went to my GP after my BFP she told me the test was negative (she was using the same ICs as I had at home). I asked if she was sure, and she retrieved the test which had since turned positive.

Anyways congratulations and I wish you all the best of luck with this one. Hopefully the rest of us will be joining you soon!

Congrats, hoping you have a sticky happy and healthy 9 months

Congratulations! So great to hear postive stories when dealing with loss! Hoping for my own BFP soon!!
