Got my Down's syndrome result

Got my result this morning and the risk is 1 in 22,000! I don't think I've ever had one that high! I'm just glad that's one thing less to worry about as I am dreading my specialist kidney scan in case there is something wrong.

My husband has duplex kidney (we only found out when I went for scans with my second), which my son and eldest daughter also have. My son and husband have it mildly (just extra tissue) but Elizabeth has 2 duplex kidneys, 4 ureters and an abnormal bladder, and is still having many problems with kidney/urine infections.

Mine come back as 1 in 9200, yours is really good.

mine came back as 1 in 33000 i thought it was a mistake but seeing high ones also made me think maybe its right cheered me up a bit after testing postive for sickle cell
