Hi there,
Maybe this one won't be too popular. I've only seen one grad mother on campus to date... But, it would be great to be able to support each other through this. I won't announce this until I'm past 12 weeks, but I'm expecting pretty mixed feelings from my boss. I haven't been the most productive of his students to date, and I'm in my 4th year so he'll probably be thinking "couldn't she just wait another year or two?" At the same time, the campus has daycare, I have healthcare, me and the OH are in love and both want this baby, I'm 31 this year... innumerable reasons I think this time is at least as good as it is bad.
So, what's your story? Excited? Scared? A little of everything?
