Greasy hair??

I've read that skin can get a bit oily at around 8 weeks. I'm only 5 weeks & my HAIR is the problem! I've never had greasy hair before, was washing every 2-3 days & now on day 2, it looks ghastly!
I don't really mind it (if it's temporary!) but just wondering if you ladies have experienced it?

i will wash mine at 6pm and the next moening needs washing again its making me look like a scrubber i hate it its driving me crazy and cant talc it either as nearly black hair

If I was paying attention to symptoms at the beginning I would have said this was my first symptom.. my hair is usually quite dry and takes a day or two to look normal when it's been washed... now I wash it and it looks silky straight after being washed but then just turns to greasy by the next day.

Really hope it's temporary!

Yes my hair is really greasy, i noticed this when i was pregnant with my daughter too! x

hey i have black hair and i use dry shampoo that u get in the supermarket, asda and tesco does it. my hair could do with being washed twice a day atm and this is my life saver!

when u spray it it leave for a few mins and brush out but dont get the carribean one or u will puke on the spot lol its stinkin

Im the same and its driving me potty, washing drying and straightening my hair every 2nd day, usually i have very good hair and i can go 3 days without washing, hope it dont stay too long lol

my hair had been A.W.F.U.L since getting pregnant its only got good now!! it was always greasy and flaky head and shoulders didnt help!

i reccomend vosene shampoo and dont worry its hormones it will come good again!!

Mine is horrible too. I have always washed my hair every day and now it could do with being washed twice a day. It doesn't even feel properly clean when I've washed it. I hate it. I really hate having dirty looking hair.

I'm 13 weeks though, so I'm not sure it disappears...

Let's hope it gets better in 2nd tri. my hair now needs to be washed everyday. i do worry what people think if I turn up at work with greasy hair. so embarassing, but long hair takes ages to dry as well, so really hating this. glad I'm not the only one with the problem.

Agreed! Hoping for temporary. My hair is usually between a little dry to perfectly healthy... now? GREASY! We hates it!

I think I'm going to have to start doing mine in the morning instead of the evening, I do anyway if I'm going out somewhere because it just starts looking too awful. Let's hope the greasy period passes!

Mine doesn't stop being greasy! After I've used the hair dryer, my hair seems to still look greasy...limp and lifeless since pregnancy...I hate it.

I'm in the 33rd week and just noticed this. Shampoo just can't get the grease out despite the fact that I've always had really dry hair and never even needed to shampoo every day. Weird. Not even like normal grease -- hair is stringy and clumpy at the scalp even before it dries. I tried using my husband's shampoo this morning. Didn't help. Any ideas?

same, and spots, i've never had spots..now i wake up and i find atleast 2 new friends on my face.
my hair gets greasy, the next day.

great! i was thinking it was my new conditioner, i'm the same way - normally get away with washing every other day and it would look just as good on the 2nd day, but now it looks like a grease pit by the second morning... yuck!

I thought it was just me!!! So glad it's not!! I used to be able to go 2-3 days between washes but now, even 2 days is a stretch.....good thing for wearing it up to work all the time.....oh and working nights so no one really sees me, lol.

By the time I was five weeks pregnant I had really terrible acne, when I'd hardly had a zit a month before!

I'm now a week late for my period, and the skin on my face, neck, chest and back has been incredibly oily while the rest of my skin is terribly dry! Hesitant to test though, as I miscarried at 5 weeks 3 days last time... We'll see!
