Yesterday I had a grown scan to check the size of the baby. The head and thigh bones measured on schedule but the babys tummy was a week larger than it should be. I am some what worried about this. The dr said my GTT results came back okay and my blood pressure yesterday was the best it has ever been. I have to go back in 4 weeks time to have another growth scan. They are worried about the baby getting to big which means I wouldn't be able to have a natural birth. After the next growth scan they may do another scan to check the est weight of baby. They said that sometimes if the baby is developing bigger with higher risk mums then it is possible that I could develop diabeties later on and they may need to do another GTT test to keep a check on it. Has anyone had any results like this??? I'm praying that everything will be okay and that I will be able to have a natural birth.
