Had an abdominal dating scan done privately, is this accurate??

They measured me at 6 weeks 6 days. We saw a heartbeat at 129. I thought I was a week or 2 farther along and this also means my hcg was pretty high 2 weeks prior for that stage. 4200 at 4 weeks 6 days. Could they be wrong? I see my dr next week to confirm.

I've never experienced this, but I have seen threads where someone has had a similar experience and the tech was dating based on conception and not lmp, which would be why it was off by weeks and not days.

The heartbeat is a good sign. Hopefully that's where the misunderstanding lies.

So early on 1mm makes a big differance and if another tech came in and measured it is likely they would have gotten a different date! As long as everything looked healthy then all is well

They try to keep dating scans to 12 weeks+ as before that the accuracy just isnt there!
