I know it isn't as big in much of the UK...but is anyone doing anything with their LO to celebrate Halloween?? Even something as simple as dressing them up and taking photos?

My lo's getting christened on Halloween lol. Not by choice just by chance - I didn't realise it was Halloween until a few weeks ago and I booked it months ago lol

Not doing anything, but have got ruby a little witch costume so can take some pics xx

Probably won't do an actual costume this year, but def. will be buying him a halloween outfit to help pass out candy!

See, this is what I miss. In the US, trick-or-treat is on ONE specific day. In the UK, you get little beggars showing up every night of the week. And where I live it's only 1-2 a night. Hardly worth buying candy.

:-(

Oh thats different! I love it, we sit out in the driveway and just talk with neighbors and see all the adorable costumes! I cannot wait until LO is old enough to do a little trick or treating!

we only get kids comming on halloween not every night of the week:wacko: . and we gets lots of kids comming around and having fun in the streets.:happydance:

We're dressing him up and taking him out. I can hardly wait! Nobody ever comes to our house for some reason, so we don't have to worry about passing out candy.

i'm throwing a halloween party at my house for a few close friends and their kids like i have done the past few years. i make over the living room with fake cobwebs and candles and stuff and OH will carve a pumpkin :haha: we will all dress up. then when the kids have had their fun we will order a takeaway, put the kids to sleep in the bedrooms and have our own party

Maybe it's just our area then.

But also, DH and my SIL never did costumes and trick-or-treat for Halloween...so my SIL thinks it's stupid and the ILs even go as far as to put a sign in the window saying "NO TRICK OR TREAT."

It makes me feel sad for them because I loved my Halloween experiences as a kid.

aww i loved it too. my mum always did a party for us so that' why i'm doing the same for my kids!

We decorated Alex's grave last year with pumpkins and fairy lights so will do the same this year and take Daisy dressed up to visit her Big Brother, getting quite excited :D xxx

Halloween is my favourite time of the year. I so can't wait till Lewis is older and can really start to get into it. This year we will get him dressed up and o visit family and friends.

I may invest in a pumpkin outfit ..Have you seen them?? Their SOOO cute. I won't be taking her out this year though. Just taking her maybe to family members & taking photos.
