DD2 will be 4 years and 8 months at Christmas, will she be to old for Happyland stuff?

I was going to buy Peppa play toys but I don't think it will be long till she grows out of Peppa so thought that Happyland stuff may last longer.

depends what she likes imo. Its quite open ended if she likes role play & acting out scenarios

We have lots of happyland but my daughter stopped playing with them before the summer, I'm sure lots of 4 year old still love them though!

my god daughter has just grown out of it last year around 4 she moved on to play mobil as there is a bit more to do with play mobil compared to happyland

She does like the role playing and acting out and loved playing with DD1's Sylvanian Families, she is just still a little heavy handed for them at the moment though.

I've had a look at the playmobil, is there a difference between the sets you can get, one starts with 1.2.3, if so which would be better for her age. :flower:

my friend never bothered with the younger version of play mobil :) shes been into it since around 3 and a half ish. My LO plays with it when we go round there but hes still happy with happyland which is less small bits for his age at 2 so i wont bother with play mobil til hes older.

playmobil lasts for a fair while to :)

Sylvanian families is so cute i used to love that when i was little!

My DD1 occasionally plays with it but that's more because DD2 is playing with it.

Agree about the playmobil she really loves that at the mo (and has done for about a year and a half) a couple of her friends are into sylvanian family, but they are expensive!!!!!

Thanks, think I might get her a couple of sets of playmobil and LO some Happyland stuff as shes still only 2. Also that way if she really wants to play with it she can play with LO's to.

I second the playmobil stuff they have some really nice stuff! I can't wait until Colin is old enough to play with the older sets.
